Our first meeting

The most important part of the landscaping process is to understand the needs of the client and how this valuable space can be created to enhance and beautify their lifestyle. The following list of things to do for the first meeting help speed up the consultation time.

We’ll be doing the following:

Discuss requirements and ideas that you have for your garden, including the plants you like/dislike, what the rules or guidelines of your complex/estate are, current problem areas you may have, and anything else that may be relevant to design and installation. Measure the area to be landscaped Photograph the area Take notes on any additional elements you may want for your garden

We’d like you to do the following:

Gather ideas. These can be photos or pictures from the web or magazines. What must this space do for you? These are some of the questions that will come upon the firs visit: (A) Private (B) Calming (C) Relaxing – Tranquil (D) Dog friendly (E) Child friendly (F) Bird life (G) Allergies- bee sting, hay fever. (H) Color skim (I) Formal or Informal and lots more.
Consider garden theme. Think about the look and feel you want your garden to have. Consider plant themes.
Think about plants that appeal to you, and those you’d rather we leave out. Choose a budget to guide us.¬†
Choosing a preferred budget helps us in creating your design, selecting the appropriate plant sizes and choosing appropriate plant quantities. We aim to create the best designs we can whilst still matching our clients requirements as efficiently as possible.
